Breakfast
Breakfast is provided free of charge for all children, who have opportunity to sit together in their class groups to have toast, cereals and fruit juice.
This creates opportunity for children to develop social and communication skills through a positive, low threhold start to the school day.
Lunch – Ordered via the School App
The school provide a lunch at no cost to parents/carers for all children who attend Fortuna and these can be ordered through the school app.
A choice of three main meals (dish of the day, jacket potato or sandwich) and two deserts (desert of the day or fresh fruit) can be ordered. The menu operates on a three week cycle for each half term.
Meals can be ordered up to and including Wednesday the week before, and if parent/carer’s wish can be ordered for the entire half-term.

Fruit and Milk
All children are offered a portion of fresh fruit and milk (or water) during a snack break. This provides opportunity for children to catch their breath after playtime, engage in group discussions and practice social skills.
