Statutory Information

The school is open to pupils:

• 8:30 to 3:00 Monday to Thursday
• 8:30 to 2:00 Friday

The school is open to pupils 31.5 hours in a full school week.

Due to the schools large catchment area (approximately 5000km²), the lengthy journey times this creates and the vast majority of pupils' reliance on local authority transport, the compulsory school day where all pupils are expected to attend school is:

• 9:00 to 2:45 Monday to Thursday
• 9:00 to 1:45 Friday

The compulsory hours for all pupils at Fortuna total 27 hours 45 minutes in a full school week. This is the minimum time that all pupils are in school due to travel arrangements.

Reporting salaries of highly paid staff

All local authority maintained schools are required to publish annually on their websites the number of individuals (if any) earning over £100k a year. This information is required to be published in bands of £10k.

There are currently no staff members who earn in excess of £100,000.
